Imaging USA 2008 Draws Record Numbers on Opening Day
Imaging USA 2008, the first major convention and trade show of the year
for professional photographers, opened it's first day in sunny Tampa,
Florida with the best attendance on a first day than it's ever had. Registration will remain
open through Tuesday morning, and with the first day's indications,
Imaging USA 2008 will break all records set in previous years.
This year's Imaging Expo is bigger and better than ever with more than 600 booths in the 150,000 SF trade show. There were plenty of new faces~and familiar ones~crowding the aisles, and the buzz of excitement was evident as they watched demos, tried out new products, got inspired by the latest trends, and purchased new equipment and products for their photography businesses.
New products aren't the only things drawing photographers to Imaging USA... this year's event boasts a lineup of business~and life~changing educational programs and conferences.

I just finished watching the video from today's show. I so wish I could be there to see all the great things ppa brings to us & ALL in one place; one sunny and warm place too! Thanks PPA, for giving us who couldn't make it, a little taste of what it's like through the video.
much appreciated,

Very talented photographers giving entertaining & educational programs. Jerry Ghionis program was incredibly fun and very informative. The top 10 album unveiling was as enjoyable as always. The tribute to Buddy Stewart at the ASP Banquet was very special. Thanks for a wonderful 2008 Convention.

Had an awesome time at ImagingUSA. Unfortunately, the video did not play on my computer.

PPA in Tampa was my first show and it was sensory overload! So much to see. Very organized, great vendors and of course beautiful weather. Looking forward to Phoenix '09!

It was so incredible and I felt as though by 3:00 pm I was on information overload. Then I went back and did it all over again. Absolutely no regrets for the 7:00 am speakers, the tired feet, sore shoulders, weary eyes. It was so great to see energetic Doug Gordon again, David Jay is such a great guy. Ooooo; Yervant was so awesome! Jerry Ghionis was histerical. My goal for 2008 was to see one speaker a month-I think I surpassed that at Imaging USA 2008!
